Optilene®
The non-absorbable Optilene® Nath material from B. Braun is monofilament, individually sterile packed and consists of polypropylene and polyethylene threads. The needle-thread combination offers high bending and tensile strength as well as a soft and supple surface. In addition, it has excellent penetration behaviour, outstanding knot strength and low curling. Thanks to the intense blue colour, which ensures continuous visibility on the supplied skin surface, the thread can be easily identified and subsequently removed.
