Model of Lower Jaw segment
This model of a lower jaw segment details various diseases of molars of the lower jaw. The diseased molars and praemolars visualize different stages of caries, from plaque to light occlusal tooth decay to the complete destruction of the molar. On the inside of the model, blood vessels, nerves and a displaced wisdom tooth are visible. Thanks to the integrated magnets, the halves of the two-part model can be attached and separated to receive a longitudinal view. The detailed representation allows the visualisation of insufficient dental hygiene.
