Cervitec Gel
Cervitec Gel is an oral hygiene gel with chlorhexidine and fluoride and is particularly suited for patients with high carries risks and increased bacteria counts. This oral hygiene gel equally assists in cases of gingivitis, parodontitis, prosthetic stomatitis. Cervitec Gel is also excellent for brushing teeth, although the teeth should still be brushed once a day with conventional toothpaste. The mouth should not be rinsed afterwards to support the caring effect of the gel.

Application
To prevent inflammation, the oral hygiene gel can be applied directly to the gums, oral mucosa, tongue, teeth or the inside of removable dentures. It is also possible to pour the gel into a tray and leave it on for 5-10 minutes 1-2 times a day. This is recommended for 2-14 days every 3-4 months. Even with prolonged use of the gel, no discolouration or taste irritation is to be expected. The oral care gel can also be used on children. However, only a pea-sized amount should be used on children under 6 years of age. If fluoride tablets are added, a dentist should be consulted before use.

In combination with Cervitec Liquid and Cervitec Plus, Cervitec Gel rounds off the oral care programme for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
